Unlike Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, tokens on Solana can still have their metadata modified after created. You can update the token name, logo, Twitter link, website, and other details. If you want to change the token logo or add/remove certain links, you can use PandaTool to accomplish the task.
Open PandaTool and Import Wallet

Important Notes
Open the PandaTool webpage: https://solana.pandatool.org/en/upload ,Connect your wallet using the button at the top right corner.
After successfully connecting to the wallet,Enter the token contract address and click Check. One of the following results may appear:
This message means the connected wallet does not have the authority to update the token metadata. You may have connected the wrong wallet or entered the incorrect address.Another possibility is that the authority has been removed. Double-check the wallet and contract address.
This means your wallet has the authority to update the token metadata. You can freely add, modify, or delete token details. This tutorial focuses on teaching you how to perform these updates.
After confirm authority , put in the required fields for the updated metadata as follows:
Name: The token's updated name (maximum 15 characters).
Symbol: The token's updated abbreviation (maximum 15 characters).
Logo: Upload the new token logo (image must be under 1000 KB; recommended size: 256x256 pixels).
Optional Fields
Optional fields mean you can choose to enter or not enter, which is not a required action
Website : Leave blank if you do not wish to include a website. If filled, the updated URL will be saved.
Telegram : Leave blank if no Telegram group is needed. If filled, it will be saved.
Twitter: Leave blank if no Twitter link is required. If filled, it will be saved.
Discord: Leave blank if no Discord link is required. If filled, it will be saved.
Description: Must not exceed 200 English letters.
Tags: You can include up to 5 tags. Default tags will be pre-filled; you can delete and add your own as needed.
After filling out the form as per your requirements, click the Update Metadata button.A wallet confirmation prompt will appear to pay the update fee (approximately 0.1 SOL).Within a few seconds, the update will be completed.
Once updated, you will notice the logo and name changes in your wallet.
Note:If the fee is deducted but the system shows an update failure, it might be a front-end error. Do not retry immediately. Instead, check the token contract address on the Solana Explorer to see if the metadata has been updated. Typically, a successful payment indicates that the update was processed, regardless of the front-end message.
Token metadata can theoretically be updated an unlimited number of times. However, for the long-term success of your project, we recommend using this functionality cautiously.
